Our Councillors formally meet regularly throughout the business year. Important decision-making, such as adopting plans, occurs at these meetings.
Community members are warmly invited to attend these meetings at our Council office. Agendas will be made available approximately one week prior to each Council meeting.
A $5 fee applies for a printed copy of a Council meeting agenda.

Workshops are open to the public to attend should they wish. However, when dealing with matters of a sensitive nature, or issues that require negotiations, workshops will be held with the public excluded with reasons as per sections 6 or 7 of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 (excluding section 7(2)(f)(i).
This will be to maintain the effective conduct of public affairs through the free and frank expression of opinions by or between members or officers or employees of any local authority in the course of their duty.
Members of the public may not participate in workshop proceedings and the Chairperson may require any member of the public to be removed from the meeting if they believe that person's behaviour is likely to disrupt the orderly conduct of the workshop.
Members of the public may not make electronic or digital recordings or take photographs during workshops which are open to the public.
