To review the shortlist of candidates for the position of Chief Executive.
Immediately following the opening of the meeting, the Committee will resolve to exclude the public pursuant to section 48(1)(a) of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987. The reason for the exclusion of the public is to enable the Committee to consider matters relating to the Chief Executive recruitment process where the withholding of information is necessary to:
Section 7(2)(a): Protect the privacy of natural persons, including that of deceased natural persons; andSection 7(2)(i): Enable the local authority to carry on, without prejudice or disadvantage, negotiations (including commercial and industrial negotiations).
The meeting will move directly into the public excluded session following its opening.
