Two special plaques have been installed recently, acknowledging the contribution made by the Chathams to war efforts.
The plaques feature the names of those who served in the armed forces during the Great War from 1914-18 and World War II from 1939-45.
The plaques are located at the entrance to the new Council and Museum building and were blessed by Raana Tuuta, Hori Day, and Pauline Mackay.
The plaques are located outside the new Council and Museum building.
From left, Pauline Mackay, Hori Day, and kaumatua Raana Tuuta bless the plaques.
